Unakite, a mottled pink (feldspar) and green (epidote) stone was originally found in the Unakas Mountains in North Carolina.
Unakite is a stone of remission, rebirth, and renewal. It's most important use is for people who have more many years been living with a false self-image, who try to fit what others believe them to be. This stone is for a person who feels that everyone wants a piece of their life; she's overwhelmed by external demands and suffers from taxation consumption - exhaustion from playing a role she's been uncomfortable with in life, from all the responsibilities she has taken on, and from trying to live up to everyone's expectations. It's for a person who feels betrayed, who sees life as full of failure and bereavement.
The necklaces measures 20" long and is adjustable to 22". All components are made with 14k goldfill material.
