You may come in with a clear vision or simply a feeling about what you are drawn to. In my work, I often consider the natural qualities of gemstones and materials, drawing from my background in Chinese Medicine and Daoist principles. For those who are interested, this can add an additional layer of meaning to the piece, but it is never required.

Some clients design based on look and feel. Others are drawn to specific stones for their energetic qualities. Both approaches are welcome here.
